GOIL has inaugurated state-of-the-art auto gas stations at five locations across Ghana, in line with the country’s energy transition ambitions.

These new sites include the Cape Coast by-pass in the central region, GOIL Burma camp service station and Kpeshie in the Greater Accra Region, as well as a new site in Kumasi, located in the Ashanti Region.

Kwame Osei-Prempeh- Prempeh, Group CEO and MD of GOIL PLC,  said that the company is ready to meet all supply chain requirements set by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA). Apart from these new locations, it is constructing two Cylinder Bottling Plants- one in Kumasi and another in Tema, to meet these goals.

The new sites were selected because they met the necessary criteria to continue this strategy. These  include approval from the Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority; compliance with NPA regulations; profitability; and ensuring customers in different areas have access to modern and safe gas facilities.

GOlL has the largest fuel retail network in Ghana, with over 440 service stations currently in operation.
