In another push for digital transformation, Galp has announced the implementation of a new digital solution to enhance the customer experience.

The retailer has selected Vontier Corporation and Invenco by GVR to deploy Passport X, a new convenience retail management software. As an integrated energy operator, Galp’s fuel retail network spans 1,300 service stations in Iberia, with approximately 700 of them located in Portugal. Invenco by GVR’s Passport X solution is a cloud-based, omnichannel retail software platform for fuel and convenience retail.

The tool includes an advanced Point-of-Sale system and integrated Back Office and Head Office workflow solutions that enable innovation going forward.

“Galp was looking for a versatile, cloud-based platform solution that meets future challenges today. Passport X allows them to rapidly innovate their c-store networks and fuel stations, boost revenue and meet customer's ever-evolving demands to drive experience and loyalty,” said Karthik Ganapathi, President of Invenco by GVR.

With this implementation, the company has deployed advanced digital services across both forecourt and c-store. Moreover, the Iberian chain’s store operators and personnel will also have access to a platform that offers maintaining a competitive edge and retaining customer loyalty.
